Purpose: To find the best value for the money invested. Objective: To replace a micro oven. Goal: To sell Kiara a micro oven. Challenge: Kiara will search for the best price. Kiara resides in a remote town in the northeastern part of the US. She has a habit of shopping online most of her things barring groceries. Her micro oven stopped working last week and has pushed the item in replacement list. It had a warranty of 2 years but has managed to function for more than 3 years now, though was given for a repair couple of times. She was quite sure even since then that the next micro oven would be a branded piece with a long working period. She is looking to purchase a new micro oven with reliability of at least seven years. She has done extensive search online to find the popular brands and their selling price in the nearby stores of the town. She is pro on browsing through online reviews of various products, and managed to read a lot of the preferred brands she had in her mind to finalize her best pick. She wanted a micro wave with all the latest functions but price is another deciding factor for her. She is ready to pay as much as $600 but the product must have high quality, durability, and all the latest features. She has find out about many international brands in the market but most of them are premium priced. As she zeroed in on her preferred brand model, she will make plans to find the micro oven with the suitable mix of reliability and price at the selected stores in the town. Kiara visits Macro Appliance shop to purchase the micro oven. She looked for the kitchen appliance section in the shop, and started looking for the available brands in the price range she was looking for. Once agreed upon, she decided to purchase it and went to the price counter to get it done.
